We offer Over The Road (OTR) refrigerated trucking and heavy haul services through our combined fleet of over 250 trucks and 300 trailers. Our refrigerated trucking services range from fresh produce and meats to pharmaceuticals and more, whereas our heavy haul trucking services primarily focus on large industrial equipment in the southeast United States. The Safety Assistant position is responsible for coordinating and facilitating all safety needs for our Giltner Transportation - Jerome Location.
Safety Assistant Responsibilities
- Answer phones
- Participate in trainings, follow safety procedures and company policies
- Conduct basic maintenance and cleanings
- Know all aspects of safety and how it works with operations
- Provide great customer service
- Maintaining equipment files, maintenance records
Safety Assistant Requirements
- Must enjoy and excel in a team environment
- Must have an upbeat and positive outlook
- Must be able to function well in a physically demanding environment
- Must be dedicated and reliable
- Must be able to complete paperwork after each job
