Carrier Sales Manager Job Description
The Carrier Sales Manager within our G3 Boise Regional Brokerage Division will oversee the day-to-day operations of their team by coaching, training, and supporting the daily activities of all members of the Carrier Sales team. They are responsible for the coaching and mentoring of a group of Carrier Sales employees at Giltner Logistics. The right candidate will lead the growth and development of current and new Carrier relationships, create and maintain SOP’s/Best Practices, and manage a diverse group of people. The Carrier Sales Manager will be responsible for the continued profitability of their team. The successful candidate will have great energy and focus, a passion for logistics, and a commitment to the growth and success of the company.

Carrier Sales Manager Responsibilities
- Train and support team with Carrier Sourcing Best Practices to drive Carrier Capacity into the Giltner Logistics network
- Oversee and support team with Carrier Ownership processes and programs to maintain quality Carrier relationships with Giltner Logistics
- Oversee and Manage shipment coverage assignments for team to ensure consistent and on-time load coverage
- Hiring, Coaching, Training of Carrier Sales reps
- Assist Claims and Management team in the claims process
- Carrier Relationship Calls with reps to support and grow the Giltner Capacity network
- Identify and support Best Practices / Process Improvement for the Carrier Sales Role
- Provide support with load coverage as needed by team
- Report to General Manager/ Director of Carrier Sales
Carrier Sales Manager Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year Carrier Sales experience
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and results oriented individual
- Proven leader with demonstrated ability to support and guide employees in their day to day
