As the Transportation Pricing Analyst for Giltner Logistics, you have a love for understanding large data sets and converting that data into valuable pieces of information. The right candidate for this position enjoys analyzing raw data, creating forecasting data models, and mastering the use of industry tools to better predict seasonal/market trends. We are looking for a self-starter who is able to run projects from conception to completion with little guidance.

Transportation Pricing Analyst Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and continuously improve our multimodal shipment pricing strategies to increase market share while remaining competitive
- Complete daily and monthly data analysis requests as assigned
- Oversee the use of all pricing and data analysis tools
- Identify areas for process improvement and additional training to improve the performance of team members and divisions as they apply to the role
- Oversee the data collection, processing, and execution of RFP’s for customers as requested
- Assist with weekly market analysis and insight publication
- Keep up to date with market trends and pending shifts in the marketplace
- Leverage data and analytics to identify actionable business opportunities
Transportation Pricing Analyst Qualifications
- Good reporting and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, possess a sense of urgency, and have the ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to multitask, learn quickly, and adapt to change
- Experience in logistics and transportation required
- Expert level experience with Google Suite Programs (i.e. Google Sheets)
